WHO WE HIRE
RNs and LPNs – Employees and Contractors
Require two years of general nursing experience as a minimum plus three months of home care experience. You must have a current Virginia license in good standing, CPR certification, hepatitus B immunization or declination, negative PPD or chest X-Ray and physician statement, 2 professional references, and a background check within the past three months.
Become the lead nurse on individual home care and private duty nursing while receiving compensation for every hour of nursing care provided. Ask us for more details when you apply.
Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Assistants
CNAs and PCAs with two years of experience, verification of training, CPR certification, hepatitis B immunization or declination, negative PPD or chest X-Ray and physician statement, 2 professional references, and a background check within the past three months.
Minimum requirements are similar to those for nurses, CNAs, and PCAs. In addition, you must submit your driving record for the past two years.
Making the decision to hire a home caregiver from a resume found online does not provide a complete picture. The last thing you want to experience is surprise or frustration when you find out the person you hired is unreliable or was not even interviewed by the referral agency. At APC, we hire only carefully screened nurses to be caregivers.
